The birth of Kellie Dawn Pickler on the 28th of June, 1986. Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. At the age of two the mother of her fled from an abusive relationship. Then, in 1995, she re-entered to Pickler's world and gained custody. The situation did not go as planned. When Pickler aged 12years old, the court transferred her to her maternal grandparents who brought her up to adulthood. Pickler was too busy raising her children in the absence of parents. According to her, because she was not able to devote time to study, she decided to master cooking and clean at an early stage. Pickler was on the teams for cheerleading in both high school and middle-school. She graduated in 2004 in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler tried out her luck in the world of beauty contests. She was once named Miss Stanly County.
