Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Her mother raised her in the USA, where she faced many racial taunts that left her feeling like an unwanted person. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition. She was praised for her singing. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed the direction she wanted to go in her career. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. Her professional career began at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and the film You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played the role of Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as critical praise. The following year, in 2007, she was cast on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. She is also an activist who is active for LGBT rights.
